High-refractory burnt periclase-chrome products are used for melting space arch of open-hearth furnaces with the capacity of 200-300 t, operating with increased relative intensity of bath lancing (11-20m3/(t·h)), open-hearth furnaces with the capacity of 400-650 t, operating with moderate relative intensity of bath lancing 
(5-10m3/(t·h)), electric-steelmaking furnaces with the capacity of less than 50 t.

The products are laid on wooden pallet, laid with cardboard sheets, protected with cardboard angles along the perimeter, wrapped with stretch-film and bundled with polypropylene strip.
